10 Day Rainforest Yoga Wellness Retreat in Arenal, Costa Rica

Essence Arenal Wellness Center sits on 22 hectares of forested land in the hills above Lake Arenal, with views of the volcano and the village of El Castillo below. The retreat is built around daily yoga classes, farm-to-table vegetarian and vegan meals, and a daily hour in a spa circuit that includes a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. The program is loose by design — there's a set skeleton of yoga and meals, but most of your afternoons are free to join the permaculture tour, book a massage, or head out to the lake for paddleboarding or kayaking.
