Home › Retreats › 100-Hour Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training on Goa's Beachfront
India · 11 days · From USD 699
The days run from 7am to 10pm, and they're packed. A typical morning starts with pranayama, Shatkarma and chanting before breakfast, followed by a dynamic asana session. The theory blocks on anatomy, philosophy and Ayurveda take up the late morning, and practice teaching happens in the afternoon so you can put what you've just learned into action while it's still fresh. Evenings ease off – beach meditation, games, or an outing into Goa.
What makes this course different from a pure physical training is the range of styles and how much attention you get. It's an Ashtanga and Vinyasa syllabus, but you'll also touch on Hatha, Yin, Restorative and Kriya, giving you a broad view of how yoga is taught rather than just one narrow tradition. The anatomy and adjustment workshops are practical rather than theoretical, and you'll be practicing your teaching on real people throughout the week, not just at the end.
The location shapes the experience. The shala sits in a green neighbourhood two minutes from Querim Beach in North Goa, so you can swim in the sea during your breaks. The accommodation is simple but comfortable, with an on-site restaurant serving sattvic vegetarian meals. Arambol Beach, with its music scene and paragliding, is a short drive away for your day off.
