Home › Retreats › 100-Hour Yin & Yoga Nidra Teacher Training in Costa Rica
Costa Rica · 10 days · From USD 1769
The training is structured to give you both personal practice and teaching skills. Mornings start with meditation and yin or restorative asana, followed by breakfast. Late mornings are for theory - you'll cover yin yoga anatomy including fascia and body styles, and Nidra theory covering the nervous system and the koshas. After lunch, a dharma talk leads into restorative or Nidra practice, and evenings include a regression session or group activities. Weekends are free for excursions, and evenings often feature kirtan or movie night.
What makes this training stand out is how openly the teachers share their own process and vulnerabilities, creating a real, equal space with students. The instructors – Inka, Colynn, and others – bring backgrounds in medical nursing, personal training, and international teaching, and they draw on wisdom from Peru, India, and China to explain the practice. Students describe feeling empowered to find their own voice and confidence as teachers.
Pranamar is a tropical jungle location, right by the beach, with a yoga shala, pool, restaurant, and garden. The property is peaceful, and Montezuma village offers hikes, waterfalls, and a Butteryfly Farm nearby. The training is listed as YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider), giving you 100 hours of continuing education credit.
