100-Hour Yin & Yoga Nidra Teacher Training Retreat in Mallorca

100-Hour Yin & Yoga Nidra Teacher Training Retreat in Mallorca

Balearic Islands · 13 days · From USD 1950

The course is split into clear modules. You start with the foundations of Yoga Nidra: its origins, the five koshas, the different types of tension, and why conscious deep rest matters. From there, you move into the inner workings of the practice—chidakasha (the inner mind screen), sankalpa (intention), and the five stages of Yoga Nidra—before learning how to teach it safely and hold space for a room. The Yin Yoga half covers the history of the practice, an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine (meridians and the Five Elements), functional anatomy for the postures, and how to sequence a Yin class with a theme in mind.

Each day follows a rhythm that balances study, practice, and integration. A typical day starts with an active morning class and meditation, then a community breakfast. After that, you move into Yoga Nidra lectures and practice. Lunch is followed by Yin Yoga theory and practice. Evenings are yours, with occasional group activities like kirtan or a movie night. The schedule is structured enough to keep you on track, but leaves room for rest, reflection, and time by the pool.

The teaching team rotates across the module. Alexandra, who hosts the training, brings certifications in Ashtanga (200H), Vinyasa (500H), and Yin Yoga (100H), plus a background in holistic life coaching. Stephan is a Jivamukti-trained teacher (300H) who also works as a psychological counselor and mindfulness coach. Kathrin Seidl, who teaches the Yoga Nidra sections, trained extensively in Yoga Nidra and Ayurveda. Between the three of them, you get a mix of vinyasa energy, Yin stillness, and deep rest expertise.

What makes this training different is the setting. Espacio Mayura and Can Rafalet are two neighbouring houses that feel more like a private home stay than a retreat centre. The group size is capped at 15, so you are not one of a crowd. The teaching is hands-on, the food is cooked for you, and the Mediterranean countryside gives you space to actually slow down. If you are looking for a 100-hour module that feels personal rather than institutional, this is it.
