The syllabus is split across the two weeks. Week one introduces Ashtanga yoga with Sun Salutation A and B. Week two moves into the standing sequence postures and how to use yoga props. Alongside that you cover Vinyasa flow — its benefits, how to design a sequence, how to build one towards peak postures, and how breathing works within it. The note in the syllabus is that you learn to sequence for both beginner and intermediate practitioners.
Yoga philosophy is a substantial part of the course: an introduction to Yog Darshan and its evolution, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and the four padas, the nadis (Ida, Pingala and Sushumna), the chakras, the Hatha Yoga Pradapika, the eight limbs of Ashtanga, the pancha vayus and panchakoshas, the three gunas (sattva, rajas and tamas), an introduction to the Vedas, and stories from the lives of yogis.
Anatomy and physiology is taught from a yogic angle — what yoga does for the body, mind and emotions, and how asana and movement work in yogic science. The detailed part covers alignment and biomechanics of seven major body parts, with specific sessions on the wrist, elbow and shoulder joints including prehab and rehabilitation. Pranayama sessions cover clavicular, thoracic and diaphragmatic breathing, yogic breathing, Ujjayi, Bhastrika, Kapalbhati, Surya Bhedi, Nadi Sodhana, Bhramari, Chandra Bhedi, Sheetali and Sheetkari, plus bandhas, kumbhakas and mudras. Shatkarma cleansing covers Jalaneti, rubber-neti, eye cleansing and Kapalbhati for the lungs.
Teaching methodology covers how to sequence a class, how to cue and adjust different levels, conscious communication, time management for a Vinyasa flow, the qualities of a teacher, demonstration and observation, and step-by-step class planning. The alignment and adjustment module goes posture by posture — standing, seated, backward extension, forward extension, twisting and inverted — covering correct alignment, common mistakes, precautions, contraindications, benefits, modifications, and both verbal and hands-on adjustments. Meditation covers Om/mantra, Trataka, Osho Dynamic, silent practice, Japa, Ajapa Japa, Antar Mouna and Nada Brahma.
Assessment is an asana practical test plus attendance, performance and behaviour. Sound healing and Keertan meditation are offered as extras — the school notes these are not part of the course but are included on top. There is also one weekend excursion, a fire ceremony, evening Ganga beach meditation, an Ayurveda session and a full-body Ayurvedic massage.
