200-Hour Breathwork Facilitator Certification in Rural Catalonia

Spain · 21 days · From USD 3650

The training is split into three distinct phases. The first week and a half is personal work: you start each morning with meditation and pranayama, then move into theory sessions covering human development stages, trauma patterns, and the chakra system. Afternoons are for breathwork practice — you'll experience all three modalities as a participant before you ever facilitate them. Rebirthing Breathwork focuses on trauma repair through connected breathing. Shamanic Elemental Breathwork is more energetic and transcendental. The third style pairs breathwork with ice baths for nervous system regulation.

The second phase is facilitation training. You'll learn session structure from start to finish: how to open a session, what music to use and when, how to read someone's body during a session, and how to close safely. Trauma-informed techniques get specific attention — pendulation (moving between activation and calm), titration (working in small doses), and resourcing (helping someone access felt safety). You'll practice 1-on-1 sessions with other trainees and receive direct feedback from Patricia and Daniel.

The training closes with a Breathwork Festival. Outside guests come to the property, and you facilitate group sessions for them. It's a real test in a supportive environment — you get to see how your skills hold up with people who haven't been through the training with you.

Patricia leads the training. She's been training breathwork facilitators for five years and has certifications across multiple modalities — Rebirthing, Shamanic Breathwork, Bioenergetics, and Breathwork with ice baths. She's also a certified trauma-informed spaceholder. Daniel assists, bringing somatic bodywork expertise. He's certified through the Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release Institute and Dr. Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry program. He's worked with indigenous communities in South America and teaches dearmouring and ritual work.

The venue is a restored Can Gironès farmhouse called Mamakilla, about 25 minutes from Girona airport. There's a wooden yoga shala with natural light and garden views, a pool, and plenty of outdoor space for sessions. Meals are vegetarian, made with local ingredients, and accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan diets.
