200-Hour Hatha, Vinyasa & Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Vinaros, Spain

This isn't just a yoga teacher training; it's a deep dive into yoga as a holistic therapy. Over 22 days, you'll cover the full 200-hour curriculum and come out with a Yoga Alliance International certification. The training blends Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin styles, with a strong emphasis on anatomy, physiology, and the energetic body—chakras, nadis, and Chinese meridians.

A typical day starts at 8:30 with a three-hour morning session that includes pranayama, asana, meditation, and deep relaxation. Afternoons are for theory: yoga philosophy, psychology, anatomy, and teaching methodology. Evenings are hands-on, where you practice teaching each other and break down poses in detail. You'll also learn basic Shiatsu bodywork, which you can use on friends and family.

The training is led by Gerry Rixen, a senior yoga teacher with 30+ years of practice. Gerry trained in the Iyengar method and has a background in Shiatsu and Chinese medicine. He's known for his therapeutic approach and his ability to explain complex concepts clearly. The course also includes sessions on teaching yoga as a business, covering everything from legal requirements to marketing.

Vinaros is a great setting for this kind of intensive. It's a working Spanish town, not a tourist resort, so you'll get a feel for everyday life in Spain. The beach is a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and markets nearby. The small group size means you'll get to know your fellow trainees well, and the shared experience of studying together often creates lasting friendships.
