Home › Retreats › 200-Hour Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in the Himalayas
India · 21 days · From USD 1500
The training is rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga but enriched with Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, and Ayurvedic principles. You'll start teaching as early as day five, leading shorter segments before progressing to full 45-90 minute classes by the final week. The curriculum covers class sequencing, alignment, adjustments, voice projection, class management, and even the business side of running a yoga teaching career. Posture clinics and themed workshops on hip opening, inversions, and arm balances are woven into the schedule, and a few Yin Yoga sessions round out the physical practice. Sundays are your day off, giving you time to explore the nearby Bhagsu Nag waterfall, wander through the local markets, or take the trailhead up to Triund for a day hike into the mountains. The school itself is in a peaceful neighborhood called Upper Bhagsu, set among pine forests with the Dhauladhar range towering above. The food is a highlight in itself—three daily vegetarian meals prepared with local, seasonal ingredients, designed to keep your energy steady through the intense days of study.
