Home › Retreats › 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Immersion in Ubud, Bali
Indonesia · 20 days · From USD 1901
The training is structured around a daily schedule that starts with morning yoga practice, followed by anatomy, philosophy, or teaching methodology workshops, and often includes an afternoon practicum where you'll teach your peers. This hands-on teaching experience, from sequencing to cueing to offering adjustments, is where the course sets itself apart. Most days end with meditation or restorative practice, so you absorb what you've learned rather than just rushing through.
What makes Bali Yoga Hub different from the larger training schools in Bali is its focus on you as an individual. The student-to-teacher ratio is kept low, and the team is known for going beyond just covering the curriculum. As one former student put it, they 'invest in your personal success' — that's a big deal when you're travelling across the world to commit three weeks of your life to a serious course. The school's location in Pejeng, away from the busy center of Ubud, offers the quiet needed for this level of focused study, while still being close enough to town for you to explore when you need a break.
Teachers Ardani and Chetan each bring their own heritage to the program. Ardani trained in Vinyasa and Ashtanga, and is known for her practical, energetic, and grounded approach. Chetan was raised in India, has been teaching since 2012, and brings a devotion to Sanskrit and the philosophical roots of yoga alongside his expertise in Hatha and Yin. Together, they cover the physical practice, the philosophy, and the subtler skills of guiding a class. Hardy, the School Director, handles operations and hospitality, ensuring the logistics and meals are taken care of so you can focus on your training.
Accommodation is in recently renovated rooms, either shared or private, each with an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and a private balcony facing the rice fields. The open-air yoga shala is a separate space away from the rooms, where you'll practice with the sounds of the rice paddies and birds in the background. The retreat also provides all the equipment you need — mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters — so you can travel light.
