200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh: Hatha, Ashtanga & Vinyasa

India · 28 days · From USD 804

Rishikesh is known as the yoga capital of the world, and this training is rooted firmly in that tradition. The curriculum blends two main styles — Hatha and Ashtanga — with Vinyasa flow, giving you a well-rounded foundation. You’ll practice six days a week, with a rest day to explore the town or simply rest by the river.

Classes run from early morning to evening. A typical day includes a 7am asana practice, a mid-morning philosophy or anatomy lecture, an afternoon alignment or teaching methodology workshop, and an evening pranayama and meditation session. You’ll also study Yoga Sutras, mantra chanting, and how to teach each pose safely and effectively.

The teaching staff are long-time practitioners, many with over a decade of experience. They focus on helping you understand the why behind each asana and adjustment, not just the how. You’ll receive personal feedback throughout the course and leave with a clear sense of how to structure a class, offer hands-on adjustments, and speak with confidence.

The school itself is a peaceful retreat center, a short walk from the Ganges. Rooms are simple but clean, with shared and private options. The on-site kitchen serves three vegetarian meals a day, and the rooftop restaurant has views over the river. It’s a supportive, focused environment perfect for diving into your practice, whether you’re a first-time teacher trainee or deepening an existing practice.
