200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in the Spiritual Heart of Rishikesh

Rishikesh · 24 days · From USD 646

The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Diya Yogashala is a deep dive into traditional yoga, blending ancient teachings with a practical approach to modern life. Each day follows a rhythm that builds discipline, starting with morning asana practice and moving through pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. The program is structured to give you a foundation solid enough to teach, but also to simply live yoga more fully.

The training covers Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga in depth, with a strong emphasis on alignment, safe practice, and intelligent sequencing. You'll learn how to adjust students safely and how to create classes that flow. Philosophy sessions explore yogic texts and teachings, encouraging you to bring mindfulness into every part of your day. It's not just about the physical postures – it's about understanding the whole system.

What makes this training different is its location and its lead teacher. Rishikesh is a town where yoga is woven into daily life, and you're staying in Swarg Ashram, a peaceful area near the Ram Jhula bridge. Yogi Deepak Nautiyal, who grew up here, teaches in a traditional style, known for his precise adjustments and deep knowledge of yogic philosophy. He studied with Yogi Kamal Singh at Tattvaa Yogashala, so you're learning from someone with strong roots in the Ashtanga tradition.

The days are full, but there's also time to rest, explore, and connect with the other students. Meals are vegetarian and sattvic, designed to support your practice without weighing you down. The group is kept to between 10 and 20 students, so you'll get personal attention. By the end of the 24 days, you'll have completed a comprehensive training that leaves you feeling more grounded and prepared, whether for teaching or just for a deeper personal practice.
