Home › Retreats › 21-Day Yoga Teacher Training and Wellness Immersion in the Algarve, Portugal
Portugal · 21 days · From USD 2999
Each day follows a rhythm that builds over the three weeks. You'll wake around 7:00 for meditation, breathwork, and chanting, then move into a 90-minute vinyasa practice. After breakfast and a silent hour for self-study, the focus shifts to posture clinics and anatomy, then teaching methodology and practicum, where you practice cueing and sequencing with your peers and get feedback. Evenings wind down with restorative movement and a philosophy discussion over dinner.
What sets this training apart is the multidisciplinary approach. Liz integrates classical vinyasa yoga with insights from physical therapy, neuroscience, and mind-body psychology, and the teaching method is hands-on and experience-based rather than lecture-only. You'll learn to sequence classes, offer consent-based assists, and teach pranayama — not just do the poses. Three days off are built into the calendar for rest, plus an excursion and a nature hike included in the week.
The location is a key part of the experience. The gated estate is about 20 minutes from the center of Loule, with the Atlantic and several beaches a short drive away. The main villa, Monte Sobradhino, houses the yoga shala and dining area, and there is a second quieter villa a short shuttle ride away. The property includes a saltwater infinity pool, a Balinese day bed, and gardens, and every room has air conditioning and views.
