Home › Retreats › 22-Day Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in Uluwatu, Bali
Indonesia · 22 days · From USD 1999
The 200-hour training at Salty Prana is built on the idea of balance—between Eastern and Western approaches, male and female teachers, and the physical and spiritual sides of yoga. The daily schedule weaves together Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin, with dedicated time for pranayama, Yoga Nidra, mantras, and Kriyas. A SOMA Breath facilitator leads daily breathwork, Acro Yoga instructors come in from Bali's best, and a guest teacher steeped in Indian spirituality handles the philosophy modules. Anatomy is taught by a qualified physiotherapist, and there is even a nurse-turned-yoga-master on the team.
The program goes well beyond asana. You will study yogic philosophy, the neuroscience of pranayama, Ayurveda, asana adjustments, sequencing, and the ethics of teaching. There are workshops on Thai Rocking Massage and sound healing, plus creative sessions involving chanting, painting, and dance. Group therapy sessions help you connect with the other trainees, and a business and marketing module prepares you for the practical side of a teaching career.
You will teach—a lot. The course is designed to give you confidence on your feet, and by the end you will deliver a full 60-minute class to your peers and receive constructive feedback. The teachers adapt asanas to different body types and levels, so the training works whether you are a relative beginner or an experienced practitioner. The teaching team has decades of combined experience across Bali, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, India, Sri Lanka, and Germany.
The retreat center itself is a jungle- and ocean-view property with a yoga shala, pool, sauna, ice baths, and a restaurant. Uluwatu is a hub for yoga and wellness, and you will have free time to explore—surfing, hiking, or visiting the iconic Uluwatu Temple for the Kecak dance. Weekend day-offs and evening activities are included, giving you time to absorb what you are learning and connect with the group.
