22-Day Wellness Escape: Authentic Yoga Teacher Training in Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai · 22 days · From USD 1801

This 200-hour yoga teacher training in Chiang Mai is dedicated to those who want to dive deep into yoga and meditation but can only take three weeks away from their daily lives. The course is intensive, covering a comprehensive curriculum that includes Hatha yoga postures, Ashtanga Vinyasa, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, philosophy, Ayurveda, and teaching methodology. You'll learn not only the physical practice but also the science behind it, gaining a solid foundation to teach internationally.

What sets this training apart is its authentic approach. The teachers, led by Acharya Chandramani, have been raised in traditional ashrams, and they bring a depth of knowledge and a personal touch that's rare to find. Acharya has over 25 years of experience, a PhD in Sanskrit Literature, and is a certified 500 E-RYT. He is joined by Siddhesh Vishare, who blends modern science with traditional teachings, offering styles like Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Yin. The team also includes an Ayurvedic doctor who shares insights into ancient healing practices integrated with modern medical science.

The location itself contributes to the experience. Situated in the Mae Win hills, the retreat center is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful environment that supports your practice. The accommodation is clean and simple, with fans and attached bathrooms, and the meals are a highlight—fresh, plant-based, and creatively prepared to keep you satisfied and energized. The schedule includes a traditional Northern Thai dinner with cultural performances, an excursion to nearby temples, and a trip to Thailand's highest mountain range, making it a culturally rich experience.

You'll also be part of a small, close-knit group, fostering a family-like atmosphere where students support each other. The school has rented 90% of the resort, so you'll have plenty of space, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The course is designed to be challenging but also accessible; even if you've never done yoga before, you can succeed with dedication and an open mind. By the end, you'll have the confidence to teach and a deeper sense of peace that lasts long after you leave.
