Home › Retreats › 25-Day 300-Hour Hatha, Ashtanga & Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Kathmandu, Nepal
Kathmandu · 25 days · From USD 699
The programme runs for 25 days in Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal. Each day typically includes asana practice, philosophy sessions, anatomy and teaching methodology. The three traditions are taught as complementary pillars rather than separate tracks, so you get a rounded education instead of a single-style specialisation.
Hatha forms the base: postures, alignment and how to hold a pose safely. Ashtanga brings a more vigorous, breath-led sequence that builds strength and stamina. Kundalini introduces chanting, breathwork and meditation techniques. Instructors meet students where they are, so beginners and more experienced yogis progress at a sustainable pace.
The course is led by Adi Yogpeeth, an operator based in India that runs several yoga trainings in Nepal and India. Their other programmes include a 100-hour Kundalini teacher training in Rishikesh, an 8-day yoga and meditation retreat near Kathmandu, a 29-day Ayurveda and yoga detox retreat in Kathmandu, a 500-hour advanced teacher training in Nepal, and a 100-hour multi-style training for beginners in Kathmandu.
Accommodation is at Adi Yogpeeth. Room options are confirmed per booking and include triple shared (female), twin shared and private rooms. Meals are tailored to the group, including dietary needs, and are confirmed once you tell them yours. Full directions and travel guidance are shared after booking.
What sets this apart from a standard 200-hour course is the 300-hour depth and the combination of three lineages. It is also priced lower than many comparable trainings, with packages starting at USD 699 for a triple shared room. The trade-off is that the schedule is full and the focus is on study and practice rather than sightseeing.
