25-Day Hatha & Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in the Himalayas

India · 25 days · From USD 1356

The 200-Hour Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is an intensive program that immerses you in the practice and philosophy of yoga. From 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, your days are filled with asana practice, pranayama, meditation, and interactive lectures on anatomy and yoga philosophy. The schedule is demanding but rewarding, designed to give you a solid foundation whether you plan to teach or just want to live and breathe yoga for 25 days.

What sets this training apart is the depth of the curriculum and the experience of the teachers. Yogi Satendra and his team, including Yogi Chetan and Dr. Keshava, bring decades of combined experience. The teaching style emphasizes correct postural alignment, balancing strength and flexibility, and understanding the anatomy of each asana. You'll learn not just how to do a pose, but why you're doing it.

The atmosphere is warm and personal. Satendra treats his students like family, and the small group size (between 10 and 30 participants) means you'll get individualized attention. Evenings often include kirtan (devotional chanting), movie nights, or simply sitting around a fire, which helps you build connections with your fellow trainees. The peaceful surroundings of the Kangra Valley provide the perfect backdrop for this kind of inner work, away from the noise of the modern world.

Located in Dharamshala, the home of the Dalai Lama, the area itself adds to the spiritual experience. You'll be surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayas, and there are opportunities for nature hikes and excursions as part of the program. This is more than a course; it's a chance to step fully into a yogic lifestyle for just under a month.
