Chiang Mai · 26 days · From USD 2243
Path of Yoga's teacher training is an intimate, deeply personal month. With group sizes capped around six to twelve students, you'll get exceptional one-on-one attention from a team of experienced teachers—Amy, Josh, Katrien, India, and others—who all live on-site. The syllabus goes far beyond learning poses. You'll study the history and branches of yoga, anatomy and physiology (with guest anatomist Tara Eden), the subtle body and prana, the science of breath, Ayurveda, sequencing, meditation, and even the business of teaching yoga.
The days are structured to be both mentally and physically balanced. You start each morning with a three-hour practice session, followed by breakfast and theory presentations. Afternoons dive into methodology—how to teach specific asanas effectively. Evenings are for dinner and free time, sometimes with chanting, kirtan, or movie nights. You'll have one free day each week to explore Northern Thailand's splendor or simply rest. The program includes regular live teaching practice from day one, so you continuously develop your skills and confidence.
What sets Path of Yoga apart is their focus on transformation, not just certification. This isn't a course built for tourists who want a certificate; it's for those committed to self-development. The teachers are serious about education and dedicated to your growth. They offer aftercare with monthly graduate Zoom calls, opportunities to return and assist on future trainings, and a pathway to eventually become a teacher trainer. Expect a supportive, close-knit community where you'll bond deeply with your fellow students and the teachers over the month, sharing meals and life together. Whether you're a beginner looking for a strong foundation or a seasoned practitioner wanting to deepen and teach, this course provides a life-changing experience and a stellar start to a teaching career.
