28-Day Yoga Teacher Training and Wellness Retreat in Rishikesh

Jiva Yoga Academy's 300-hour teacher training is all about going deeper—both in your physical practice and your understanding of yoga as a whole. The course covers a wide range of topics, from advanced asana alignment in Hatha and Ashtanga styles to pranayama, meditation, mantra chanting, yoga nidra, and even Ayurveda and acupressure points. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to take you from the fundamentals to more advanced teachings, making it suitable for both recent 200-hour graduates and those who've been practicing for years.

One thing that stands out is the emphasis on adapting traditional teachings to modern life. The teachers, who have studied with masters and gurus, translate ancient wisdom into practical tools you can use on and off the mat. You'll also learn how specific asanas affect your mental and emotional state, and how to use yoga therapeutically for yourself and future students.

The training kicks off with a traditional fire ceremony, setting an intention for your month ahead.
