Home › Retreats › 3-Day SUP & Surf Camp with Digital Detox in the Philippines
Philippines · 3 days · From USD 291
The retreat is hosted by Justin, who runs the camp with a mix of practical skills and emotional therapy training. He's a chef who specialises in retreat cooking and also offers one-on-one sessions using applied kinesiology, the Body Code, and something called the Change Triangle. Each day includes an EFT session designed to help you process emotions that might be holding you back. If you're interested, you can also do a journaling course to help you 'uncover your truth' — the camp has a designated writing area.
The camp itself is off-grid, relying on solar power. Your private tent has clean sheets, a pillow, a fan, and lights. There's a kitchen with a grill area, a bathroom, and running fresh water. Meals are cooked on-site using local ingredients, with a focus on healthy, fresh food — think coconut juices, power lunches, and seafood BBQs.
The surfing here is for intermediate folks — there are two breaks right in front of the camp, and they work best from February to June and late October to November. If you're a beginner, lessons can be arranged in advance for an extra cost. Stand-up paddle boards and snorkel gear are provided for free.
Mam On is a 45-minute boat ride from General Luna, the main town on Siargao. The island is small and protected, and the camp operates with a 'leave no trace' policy — if you bring it, you take it away. It's a wild, natural setting, and the lack of internet is the whole point.
