Home › Retreats › 3-Day Yoga & Surf Reset in Canggu, Bali
Indonesia · 3 days · From USD 367
The Pineapple House sits in Canggu, a coastal village in Bali that has built a reputation for its surf beaches, yoga studios, and cafe scene. The property itself is made up of two antique wooden joglos from Java, rebuilt here in 2013. The open-plan living areas, pool, and 'Nap Shack' gazebo give it the feel of a friend's holiday home rather than a retreat centre.
The package includes two group yoga classes at Desa Seni, the yoga resort immediately next door. Desa Seni runs a full schedule of classes through the week — hatha, vinyasa, yin, ashtanga, and kundalini are all on the timetable — so you can pick whichever class suits the day. You also get a 60-minute massage from Era, the property manager and spa therapist, plus a daily breakfast prepared by the staff.
Surfing is the other main draw. Several of Bali's better-known breaks — Batu Bolong, Old Man's, Pererenan, the Canggu Left and Right — are a few minutes away by scooter. The team will match you with an instructor based on your level and the conditions on the day, whether that's a beginner lesson on a soft-top or a guide to a more challenging reef break.
Because the retreat is only three days, it works well as a short reset. The schedule is deliberately light: mornings for surf, afternoons free. Rachel, the host, has been teaching yoga for nine years, with a focus on Yin, breathwork, and Ayurveda, and is around to answer questions or help arrange extras like cooking classes, temple visits, or a horse ride on the beach.
