Thailand · 30 days · From USD 1295
Combat 360X has been running since 2006, and the trainers are all fully qualified with years of experience in combat sports, athletics, and bodybuilding. Mike, the head coach, is a veteran MMA/BJJ fighter, a former bodybuilding champion, and a multiple-time Muay Thai champion and boxer. He's coached everyone from complete novices to elite athletes, and he's known for adapting sessions to whatever level you're at.
Training happens six days a week, with Sundays off. A typical weekday starts with Muay Thai or boxing at 8:30 AM, then grappling from 10:30 to 11:30, and conditioning from noon to 1 PM. In the evening there's another Muay Thai session from 4 to 5:30 PM. Saturdays follow a similar rhythm with morning and evening Muay Thai. The classes are kept small — usually around 10 people or fewer — so you get plenty of individual attention and technique feedback.
What really sets this camp apart is the balance between hard training and recovery in a stunning location. Khao Lak is quiet and leafy, with beautiful beaches a short drive away. You get time to unwind, read by the pool, or explore the local sights between sessions. The retreat is designed for people who want to be pushed but also need to recharge.
The accommodation is a private poolside room with air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom, TV, fridge, and free Wi-Fi. You have free run of the pool and fitness facilities whenever you're not in class. The camp is surrounded by restaurants, local food stands, and a convenience store, so eating well is easy — you'll be in the heart of a foodie village with plenty of cheap options.
