300-Hour Advanced Hatha & Meditation Yoga Teacher Training in Ubud

Indonesia · 28 days · From USD 3800

The heart of this training is classical Hatha yoga, taught with a strong emphasis on alignment, anatomy, and the energetic side of practice. Mornings start with meditative asana, followed by pranayama, then breakfast before philosophy or meditation. Afternoons bring alignment work, anatomy, and a second asana practice focused on strength and flexibility. This daily structure means you're not just learning techniques — you're living them for 28 days.

The syllabus is thorough. You'll cover the three Pawanmuktasana series as preparation for deeper work, then move through Sun and Moon Salutations, standing and seated postures, forward and backward extensions, abdominal work, and inversions. Advanced asana groups are introduced gradually, with respect for your body's pace. Restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra are also included, so you learn when rest is the most powerful practice.

Pranayama gets serious attention, from basic breathing practices to advanced techniques with bandhas, mudras, and mantra. You'll also study shatkriyas — the yogic cleansing practices — and learn their benefits and safe application. The philosophy side is equally deep: you'll explore the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita, Shiva Sutras, and Vigyan Bhairav Tantra, always discussed as lived wisdom rather than abstract theory.

Anatomy is studied in direct relation to yoga — body systems, spinal mechanics, fascia, and biomechanics, alongside the subtle body of chakras, nadis, prana, and koshas. Teaching methodology runs through the whole course: you'll practice verbal cueing, demonstration, hands-on assisting, and class sequencing, receiving feedback to build clarity and confidence. Ethics are grounded in the Yamas and Niyamas, with honest discussions about responsibility and what it means to teach.

The team at Advait Yoga brings decades of combined experience. Master Nirakar, the founder, has walked the yogic path for over eighteen years and leads with a calm, grounded presence. He's joined by Sam R, trained in Rishikesh with degrees in Yogic Science; Amit Chauhan, an ERYT-500 known for Hatha, Ashtanga, and alignment; Kanchan, who blends creativity with anatomy; Manisha, whose classes mix gentleness with depth; and Will Burton, an expert in functional movement and hand balancing. Each brings a different strength, so you get a well-rounded view of yoga practice and teaching.

Ubud itself supports the whole experience. The venue, Taman Harum Cottages, is surrounded by rice fields and tropical forest, close enough to town for cafés and markets but far enough for quiet. The slower pace of life makes it easier to turn inward. Between sessions, you can walk village paths, visit temples, or just rest by the pool. It's a setting designed for study, but also for remembering why you practice.
