Home › Retreats › 300 Hour Advanced Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in the Himalayan Foothills of Rishikesh
Rishikesh · 28 days · From USD 775
The 300-hour advanced program is designed for people who already hold a 200-hour certificate and want to go deeper into Kundalini specifically. The curriculum covers kriyas and meditation sequences for awakening, a full survey of Kundalini philosophy, the anatomy and physiology of the practices, and what they call 'connecting with masters'—time spent directly with the teachers.
A typical day includes early sadhana, a main asana class, study of the scriptures, and practical teaching labs. There are also workshops on things like conscious communication and mind control through meditation, which aren't usually part of a standard YTT. Because the group is capped at fifteen people, you get real attention and can actually ask questions that matter to your own teaching.
The teachers come from different schools within the tradition. Monika leads pranayama and meditation, and she's an E-RYT 500 with a master's in yogic science. Mandeep focuses on mantras and the Vedic texts. Shubham handles the physical asana, practicing under several well-known gurus in Rishikesh. The sound healer, Siddha ji, has worked with hospitals and trained under Tibetan and Nepali masters, and he runs the sound healing sessions that some students say are a highlight.
Rishikesh itself is a huge part of the experience. It's known as the yoga capital of the world, and just being here, among the 'yoga gurus' and ashrams that line the streets, changes the texture of the month. The school still keeps itself apart from the most touristy main drag, in Upper Tapovan, where life is quieter and the air is clearer. You'll probably walk to the Ganges at some point for the evening aarti ceremony, and you'll definitely feel the shift that comes from a month of practice in a place like this.
