300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh with Accommodation and Meals

Rishikesh · 28 days · From USD 1035

The 300-hour teacher training at DivinePath Yoga School in Rishikesh is designed to take you deep into the practice and theory of yoga. Running over 28 days, it's a residential program where you'll live, study, and practice together with a small group of 10 to 15 students. The curriculum covers traditional Hatha and Vinyasa with a focus on alignment, plus Ashtanga foundations to build strength and discipline. Daily pranayama and meditation sessions help develop inner awareness, while philosophy classes draw on the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita.

Teaching methodology is a key part of the course. You'll learn how to sequence classes, give clear instructions, and use hands-on adjustments. Practice teaching sessions let you build confidence in a supportive setting. Anatomy and biomechanics are taught practically, so you understand how the body moves safely in each pose. Throughout the month, you'll also experience mantra chanting, kirtan, yogic cleansing practices (kriyas), and satsang gatherings for reflection and community.

The location plays a huge role in the experience. The school is in Tapovan, a calm area of Rishikesh just above the Ganga River and surrounded by Himalayan foothills. You can walk to Laxman Jhula, the iconic suspension bridge, and to riverside cafés, organic shops, and temples. The retreat center itself has open-air common areas, a small farm with vegetables, and an on-site café. The teachers—Rajesh, Jaggi, Naveen, and Saransh—each bring years of study and practice, often from local universities and ashrams. They're known for their patient, heart-centred teaching style.

What makes this program stand out is the balance of structure and personal support. Small batches mean you get individual attention, and the schedule includes rest days and excursions to keep the month from feeling overwhelming. By the end, you'll have a solid foundation in asana, pranayama, meditation, and teaching, plus a certificate recognized by Yoga Alliance. Many students leave with not just skills but also friendships and a renewed sense of direction.
