300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Intensive in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Chiang Mai · 28 days · From USD 2499

This 300-hour teacher training is a full month of study and practice, following on from a 200-hour certification. The curriculum is dense: you'll cover asana practice and alignment, pranayama techniques, bandhas, mudras, shatkarma (cleansing practices), mantras, meditation, yoga anatomy and physiology, philosophy from the Yoga Sutras to the Bhagavad Gita, and Ayurveda. Teaching methodology is a major focus, with practice teaching sessions and feedback, so you leave ready to lead your own classes.

What makes this program stand out is the traditional, Rishikesh-style approach brought directly to Thailand. The teaching team, including an Ayurvedic doctor, comes from India specifically for this course, bringing authentic Himalayan yoga lineage. The daily schedule is structured but includes time for self-study and rest. The group is kept small, between 1 and 15 participants, ensuring individual attention and a strong sense of community.

The location is a guesthouse in the Mae Wang district, selected for its peaceful surroundings. You'll stay in simple, non-air-conditioned Thai-style wooden bungalows with fans, and meals are vegetarian or vegan. The program emphasizes a disciplined lifestyle: no alcohol, drugs, or smoking on the premises, and no meat or eggs. This is a retreat for students who are ready to fully commit to the yogic path for a month and leave with both a certification and a transformative experience.
