300-Hour Yoga Therapy & Integrative Medicine Teacher Training on a Greek Island

300-Hour Yoga Therapy & Integrative Medicine Teacher Training on a Greek Island

Greece · 29 days · From USD 2800

The training covers 12 distinct modules, each focused on a different area of health: back pain, joint disorders, digestive issues, cardiovascular and respiratory problems, endocrine and immune dysfunction, nervous system disorders, men's and women's health, and working with cancer patients. There's also dedicated time for restorative yoga, yoga nidra, psychological stress responses, and the practicalities of building therapeutic relationships with clients.

You'll learn to evaluate clients through observation, palpation, questioning, and movement assessment — not just watching someone do a pose, but understanding their breathing patterns, posture, and how their body actually functions. The bodywork component includes basic Shiatsu techniques, marma points, acupoints, and meridian stretches that complement the yoga therapy work.

The theoretical foundation draws from both Eastern and Western approaches: you'll study nadis, chakras, and prana alongside fascia, biomechanics, and posturology. The course explains how stress affects physiology, why relaxation matters therapeutically, and how emotions manifest in the body. It's designed for people who already have yoga teaching experience (200-hour minimum) or work as holistic therapists.

Mornings typically involve study and practice sessions, while afternoons are often free. Previous guests mention trips to beaches around the island, visits to local villages, swimming in the gulf, and watching sunsets from the terrace during evening practice. The group size stays between 4 and 18 people, small enough that Massimo can adapt to what participants need.

The food deserves mention: three vegetarian meals daily, prepared in the centre's kitchen using locally grown ingredients from the island's volcanic soil. Expect Greek and Middle Eastern influences — fresh vegetables, olive oil, legumes, and fruit from the garden. Snacks, tea, water, and coffee are available throughout the day.

You'll leave with a certificate that, combined with your existing 200-hour training, qualifies you for 500-hour Master Yoga Teacher registration with Yoga Alliance International. More practically, you'll leave knowing how to assess a client's condition and design a therapeutic intervention that goes beyond generic yoga instruction.
