31-Day Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in the Heart of Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona · 31 days · From USD 2290

This 200-hour teacher training runs over 31 days, with tuition from Monday to Friday and weekends completely free. The course follows the Hatha Vinyasa lineage and sticks to the Yoga Alliance curriculum, so you'll study asana, pranayama, meditation, history, philosophy, subtle body anatomy, biomechanics, teaching methodology, ethics, and professional development—plus a unique two-day Business Yoga module that gives you practical tips for starting to teach professionally after the course.

The teaching style is hands-on from day one. In your first week, you'll start practicing teaching with your peers, and as you progress, you'll lead supervised classes with real students at the studio. This direct experience is what really sets this training apart; it's not just theory, you'll actually be doing the job of a teacher while you learn. Each student also gets a personal mentor and meets with them weekly to go over your progress, ask questions, and get guidance. You'll have a complete training manual and a month-long yoga studio pass to deepen your own practice outside of class hours.

Yoga Weeks is an established yoga school in Barcelona, and the training is taught by a team of national and international teachers, each with their own specialty. Judith brings over a decade of experience in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Hatha, and will be one of your main instructors for asana and teaching methodology. Mar is an Ashtanga-trained teacher and breathwork facilitator who focuses on pranayama and subtle body awareness. Audrey, a former pharmacist, teaches asana, meditation, and the biomechanics and anatomy module, with a keen eye for reading bodies. Arianna is a 250-hour Vinyasa teacher from Milan, and Ana, born in Barcelona, blends Hatha Vinyasa with Yin and a background in acting. Dr. Ana, the founder, oversees the program, teaches ethics, and leads the business module. With this team, you're learning from people who have been teaching for years, not just fresh graduates.

The location is a real part of the experience. The training shala is at Carrer Volta de la Perdiu 2 and the retreat center at Carrer Carme 40, both in the heart of the city. After your morning practice and breakfast, you have a one-hour lunch break where you can step out and grab something at a nearby café, or bring your own food and eat at the shala. Evenings are free for personal practice on the rooftop studio or for exploring one of Europe's most vibrant cities. The energy of Barcelona becomes part of your training, giving you a chance to experience the balance between deep study and city life.
