Home › Retreats › 4-Day Hiking and Yoga Wellness Escape in Zion National Park, USA
United States · 4 days · From USD 906
The retreat runs over four days and three nights, based out of a spacious four-bedroom Airbnb in La Verkin, about 20 minutes from Zion National Park's main entrance. The house is central to everything: Sand Hollow State Park is ten minutes away for lake activities, Kolob Canyon is part of Zion, and Snow Canyon State Park is nearby. There's a grocery store, restaurants, and a coffee shop within walking distance.
Day one is a gentle introduction. You check in at 3 PM, meet the group over tea, and have an opening circle to get acquainted. Dinner is at River Rock, a local favorite, with a $20 gift card provided. Afterward, there's an optional visit to Zion Canyon Hot Springs (extra cost) where you can soak under the stars—guests who've been say it's one of the highlights of the trip.
The second day is all about Zion. After breakfast at the house, you drive into the park and cover the full length of the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, stopping at viewpoints with your guide—who is also a professional photographer—to get great shots. The main walk is a two-mile round trip along an easy riverside trail to the Temple of Sinawava. Dinner that night is typically at Lonny Boys BBQ, another local spot with a gift card provided.
Day three is a bigger excursion to Page, Arizona, where you choose between visiting Horseshoe Bend (a 0.8-mile walk each way to the famous viewpoint) or doing a guided tour at Canyon X in Antelope Canyon, one of the most photographed slot canyons in the world. The Canyon X tour costs extra (around $45 per person) and you'll need to book it ahead. Dinner is in Page before the drive back to La Verkin. The last day is more relaxed: breakfast, an optional yoga class at a local studio (extra cost), a short group walk at Confluence Park by the river, then checkout at 11:30 AM.
Throughout the retreat, breakfasts at the Airbnb are included—expect things like eggs, toast, bacon or ham, fruit, coffee, and tea. Dinners at local restaurants are included with a $20 gift card per person for each night. Lunches you handle yourself; there's a grocery store a block or two from the house to stock up. Groups are small, between 2 and 8 people, which keeps things flexible and personal.
