4-Day Tibetan Sound Healing Training & Sound Bath Certification in Ubud, Bali

4-Day Tibetan Sound Healing Training & Sound Bath Certification in Ubud, Bali

Indonesia · 4 days · From EUR 400

The training runs four days and is built for three kinds of people: yoga teachers who want to add sound to their classes, wellness practitioners adding a modality, and complete beginners who are curious and want proper instruction rather than a weekend taster. You do not need prior experience with singing bowls. You do need to be willing to sit on the floor, practice in front of others, and take notes.

The teaching covers the foundations properly. You go through how to select bowls — including what to listen for and which sizes do what — how to hold and strike them, how to build a session from the opening to the close, and how to read the energy of a room so you can adjust what you're doing in the moment. There is separate work on one-to-one sessions, because running sound for a single client is a different skill from holding a group sound bath. Simon Maniora leads the training, drawing on Tibetan Singing Bowl Therapy levels I–III completed in Rishikesh and further training with Roshan Bahar at the International Academy of Sound Healing.

What separates this from a general sound healing workshop is the room you practise in. The eco-village has a dedicated sound dome with acoustics built for this work, and the bowls sound noticeably fuller inside it than they would in a normal studio. You spend real hours in there, playing, listening back, and correcting. That loop — play, hear it properly, adjust — is what moves people from nervous beginner to someone who can hold a session.

Accommodation is optional and priced separately. If you take a room on site you're inside the eco-village, which keeps you close to the dome and the group for the whole four days. If you'd rather sort your own place in Ubud, there's a course-only rate that includes food but no lodging, and the village is easy to reach from central Ubud by scooter or car.

Meals are arranged around the group and dietary needs are asked about in advance — tell them what you need and they'll confirm before you arrive. It's a training schedule, so days are full; expect to be tired and expect to have played the bowls for hours by the time you finish. You leave with a certificate, the manual, and enough supervised practice behind you to start running sound baths for other people.
