Home › Retreats › 5-Day Fall Wellness Retreat in Vermont: Shed, Align, Emerge
United States · 5 days · From USD 992
This retreat takes place at Sky Meadow, a family-run retreat center in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, and it's built around a simple but potent idea: give people the space and tools to unpack what they've been carrying, and trust them to decide what comes next. Each day follows a gentle rhythm — a 7:30 AM yoga and meditation session, a relaxed breakfast, a midday activity, lunch, an evening session, dinner, and plenty of unstructured time in between. The structured activities pull from a wide range: pranayama, sound healing, reiki, tai chi, art therapy, and guided forest hikes through the property's trails.
The centerpiece is the pair of workshops led by Marcello LaGreca, which get at the heart of the 'shed, align, emerge' theme. These are not passive lectures — guests have described them as getting them 'out of their comfort zone in a really rewarding way,' with moments that spark real reflection, like the conversation about how we treat our inner child compared to how we'd treat an actual child. Marcello stays on-site overnight, which gives the group a chance to debrief casually and break any tension. The other facilitator, Gabrielle Giaquinto, is a registered nurse and certified yoga teacher who trained in Rishikesh, India. Known as Gabbie, she leads the morning vinyasa classes and shepherds the group through the rest of the activities with a steady, supportive hand.
The location is a huge part of the experience. Vermont in September is peak foliage season, and the 115 acres are painted in reds, oranges, and yellows. The property has ponds, gardens, woodlands, and pastures full of sheep and chickens, and the accommodations are scattered across the land — from the Pond House with its vintage woodstove to the whimsical Hobbit House, a cob cottage with no electricity. This is a place to unplug, to hear the wind in the trees, and to slow down to the pace of walking across a field. The retreat is designed for anyone, regardless of yoga experience, and the atmosphere is cozy, intimate, and welcoming to solo travelers.
