5 Day Jungle Yoga, Sound Healing & Creative Retreat in Bali

The retreat is based at Bali Secret Jungle Retreat, a small property deep in the Tabanan rainforest, a 5–8 minute walk from the nearest road through rice fields and jungle paths. There are only a few intimate cabins spread over a tiered garden, so it's genuinely peaceful. You'll hear birds and rivers rather than cars, and the focus is on slow, mindful living.

Each day has a rhythm: morning yoga, a healthy breakfast, and then either a cultural activity or free time to explore the jungle or relax by the pool. You'll take part in a Melukat water purification ceremony with a local Balinese priest, try sound healing, and join two traditional Balinese massage sessions. There's also a guided nature walk through rice fields and cacao trees.

The cultural workshops are a real highlight: you'll make canang sari offerings with local villagers, learn to cook authentic Balinese dishes, and create your own tie-dye shirt using natural plant dyes. These are hands-on, small-group experiences run by local people, not staged tourist shows. The team, led by co-founder Benjamin and host Ghni, is known for going above and for their guests — from arranging pescatarian meals to taking you to hidden waterfalls on the back of a scooter.

The retreat is best for solo travelers looking for a private, personalized escape, though couples and friends are welcome too. You'll stay in a private wooden cabin with a queen bed, A/C, and a semi-open bathroom with a hot shower. The location is remote — the property has no WiFi in the rooms or by the pool, which makes disconnecting easy (WiFi is available in the common area if you need it).
