Malaysia · 50 days · From USD 10340
The 50-Day World Yoga Teacher Training (WYTT) at Morib Beach is a comprehensive program that goes far beyond learning poses. Over the course of 49 nights, you'll study a wide range of yoga styles—from Hatha and Ashtanga to Iyengar, Kundalini, and Raja Yoga—and take part in practical teaching sessions where you'll learn alignment, adjustments, and methodology. The curriculum is intense, with 10.5 hours of contact time each day, covering asana practice, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, philosophy, and teaching practicum.
What sets this training apart is its emphasis on tradition and the depth of the instruction. Led by Guruji Murugan Chillayah, the World Yoga Association follows classical yogic principles, including sattvic living and the practice of Ahimsa (non-violence), which is reflected in the vegetarian meals and the overall approach to the practice. The program is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and is internationally recognized, giving you a credential that carries weight wherever you plan to teach.
The location is a key part of the experience. Morib Beach is a quiet, laid-back coastal area, offering a peaceful environment free from the distractions of city life. Each morning, you can wake up to the sound of the waves, take a bicycle ride along the shore, or simply enjoy the tropical gardens. Despite the rigorous schedule, there is time for rest, self-study, and cultural excursions, making this a transformative experience both personally and professionally.
