50-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Tropical Koh Phangan

Koh Phangan · 8 days · From USD 495

This 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training is built around the idea that Yin Yoga is more than just a physical practice. It's founded on the principles of Chinese Medicine, targeting the connective tissues, fascia, and joints in a way that other styles of yoga often ignore. By holding poses for several minutes at a time, you'll unlock deep layers of tension and bring a sense of balance to your whole system. The training blends ancient meridian theory with modern scientific understanding, giving you a rich, well-rounded perspective on how Yin Yoga supports the body and mind in today's busy world.

The course runs Monday through Saturday, with a structured daily schedule that includes morning meditation and Yin practice, lectures on history, anatomy, and Chinese elements, and an afternoon session on postures and modifications, followed by a Yin/Yang practice. You'll learn the concept of meridian lines and Chinese elements, the postures that connect to each, the history and principles of Yin Yoga, and how to professionally teach this style. You'll also leave with a deep understanding of the Yin postures and how to modify them for different levels of practice and flexibility.

What makes this training special is the caliber of the teachers. Paula is a registered nurse and yoga teacher since 2011, with a special focus on the anatomy of yoga and the subtle body. She brings a deep understanding of the physical body and how energy flows through it, blending Eastern and Western techniques. Magdalena is an accredited movement coach with over 15 years of experience teaching yoga, dance, martial arts, and meditation. She found yoga after a serious back injury and is passionate about sharing the modern science of yoga while honoring its ancient roots. Together, they create a supportive, knowledgeable environment that will leave you feeling confident to teach.

The location itself is a huge part of the experience. Orion Healing Centre sits right on Srithanu Bay, a quiet corner of Koh Phangan known for its yoga and wellness community. You're steps from the beach, surrounded by coconut trees, with two yoga shalas, a cafe serving high-quality vegan and raw food, and a sauna on site. It's the kind of place where you can fully immerse yourself in the training, then walk out the door and onto the sand when the day's classes are done. Whether you're a seasoned teacher looking to uplevel your skills or a practitioner ready to deepen your knowledge, this training is a chance to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
