58-Day Immersive 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in the Himalayas

The day starts at 6:25 AM with herbal tea, moving into 90 minutes of Ashtanga Yoga at 6:40. After pranayama and breakfast, the morning continues with a philosophy class and then adjustment and alignment. After lunch, mantra practice, a drink break, Hatha Yoga in the late afternoon, and meditation or yoga nidra at 6 PM. Dinner at 7 PM, self-study until 9, and lights off at 10 PM. It's a tight schedule, but one that builds on itself day after day.

What makes this course stand out is its combination of traditional practice and modern teaching methodology. The daily rhythm includes all eight limbs of yoga — not just asana. You'll study philosophy, history, ethics, anatomy and physiology, and receive detailed feedback on your teaching practice. There are no scheduled days off; the consistency is part of the training. The school itself, Rishikul Yogshala, has been running since 2010 with centers across India and neighboring countries.
