6-Month Ayurveda & Wellness Coaching Programme with 5-Day UK Retreat

6-Month Ayurveda & Wellness Coaching Programme with 5-Day UK Retreat

United Kingdom · 5 days · From USD 2913

The programme starts before you even arrive. You'll have an initial consultation with your transformation coach and an Ayurveda doctor, and then fortnightly one-to-one sessions kick off. These are the backbone of the six months—your coach helps you set goals, track progress, and adjust your nutrition, movement, and daily routines as you go. You get recipe suggestions, meal planning help, and personalised yoga practice guidance, all tailored to your dosha (your Ayurvedic body type).

The in-person retreat at Ruxton Farm is where it all comes together. The day-to-day includes daily yoga classes, meditation sessions, and workshops on Ayurveda and mindfulness. There are also optional extras like a cooking class, guided walks, and spa treatments. The doctors offer Ayurvedic therapies—Abhyanga (therapeutic massage), Shirodhara (oil poured on the forehead), and Nasya (medicated oils in the nose)—which are deeply relaxing and surprisingly effective at shifting stuck energy.

The setting is a big part of the appeal. Ruxton Farm is a rustic old farmhouse with 14 acres of gardens, and the River Wye runs right by. It's in the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the surroundings are genuinely beautiful. Rooms are en-suite with views over the countryside, and the vibe is homely rather than hotel-like—there's a library, a garden, and free parking.

What makes it different from a standard yoga retreat is the length of the coaching relationship. Most retreats last a week and you're on your own after. Here, you have six months of support, so when you hit a rough patch in February, you've got someone to call. The team includes Ishara, who founded Plantation Villa and teaches meditation; Kirti, a yoga teacher with over a decade of experience; and Dr Pooja, the head Ayurveda doctor. There's also a Buddhist monk who visits a couple of times a year, if you time it right.

Plantation Villa runs as a social enterprise. Profits go to The Metta Trust, their own charity in Sri Lanka, which funds schools, hospitals, and free Ayurvedic care for underprivileged communities. So the money you spend isn't just for you—it supports people who need it.
