This seven-day detox and wellness retreat in Kathmandu takes a gradual approach to Ayurvedic cleansing. It combines personalised therapies, nourishing food, yoga, meditation, breathing practice, rest and lifestyle guidance. It is a gentler alternative to the longer, more intensive classical Panchakarma.
The week opens with a consultation and wellness assessment, and your cleansing programme is built from it. The middle days focus on cleansing therapies, oil massage, steam treatment and guided breathing, with plenty of rest. A mid-programme consultation checks how you are responding. The last part of the week moves towards rejuvenation therapies and a practical session on food, sleep and daily habits.
Meals are simple, warm and vegetarian, such as rice, lentils, cooked vegetables and herbal teas, designed to rest the digestion. They become more varied in the final phase. You stay six nights at a selected Ayurvedic wellness resort, with airport pickup and drop-off included.
Groups are small (1 to 10 guests), and the retreat runs all year.
