7-Day MMA Training Retreat with Carlos Prates in Medellín, Colombia

Train for a week with UFC welterweight Carlos "The Nightmare" Prates at a private villa in the Medellín area of Colombia. The retreat runs from 24 to 30 March 2027, with six nights in the villa and a group of 12 at most.

Carlos coaches two sessions a day, each about an hour, drawing on MMA, striking and Muay Thai. The morning block covers technique, pads and conditioning, and the second session before lunch turns to situational drills, technical refinement and optional sparring, with time to put questions to him directly.

The day is built around recovery as much as training. Mornings open with coffee, fruit, breathwork, meditation and mobility, and each session is followed by an ice bath, guided stretching and foam rolling. A private chef cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there is time to rest by the pool in the afternoon.

Every afternoon includes an outing, which could be horseback riding, an ATV ride, a waterfall hike, paragliding, a river trip or an evening out. Dinner is with Carlos and the group, and the final night closes with certificates and a sky-lantern ceremony. Photos and video of the week are included.

This camp is for people with around a year of training who want hands-on time with a UFC welterweight. Airport pickup from Medellín (MDE) or Bogotá (BOG) and all transport during the week are taken care of.
