Home › Retreats › 7-Day Yoga, Breathwork & Shamanic Healing Retreat in Rural Valencia
Valencia · 7 days · From EUR 750
Fuente Bon sits in the countryside outside Villar del Arzobispo, a small town in the Valencia province. The property is built around a patio, with a commune kitchen, several terraces, a pool, wifi in the communal areas and hammocks and hanging chairs scattered around. The views from the back rooms look out over the hills and the newer part of the centre. It's quiet — the kind of quiet where you notice it in the first hour.
The programme is led by three people. Petra Boogaard, Monique Pijnacker and Edgar Bergsma built the centre and run retreats here all year, on themes including self-love, ancestors, divine feminine, spiritual tantra, and recharge and relax. Between them they work with bodywork, breathwork, womb work, hypnosis, shamanism, healing, inner child work, white tantra, coaching, Mayan profiles and massage. That mix is what shapes the week — it isn't a yoga holiday with a bit of ceremony tacked on, it's a programme built around the practices the team actually teaches.
The daily structure is consistent enough to feel safe and varied enough not to drag. Mornings start with yoga, followed by group sessions that might cover breathwork, guided exercises or inner child healing. Lunch is cooked on site. Most afternoons you get a private session — one-to-one time with one of the facilitators, which is unusual at this price point and is one of the things people tend to remember. Evenings are dinner plus programme, and the week ends with a closing ceremony on Day 6 before you leave on Day 7.
Day 4 is deliberately different: an exercise session, then a walk into town for lunch, then a private session and dinner. Day 5 replaces the private session with time in nature. The midweek shift gives the week a shape rather than a flat seven days of the same thing.
Accommodation is spread across the property. The Buddha House sleeps two and has a small kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom and a video/mezzanine upstairs with two single beds. The Tiny Houses are single-occupancy with a private bathroom, small kitchen with oven, a couch and a private terrace facing the hills. There's a two-person suite at the patio with two single beds and a bathroom, and a set of single rooms around the patio — some with private bathrooms, some sharing a bathroom between two rooms. Prices run from EUR 750 for the shared suite up to EUR 950 for a Tiny House.
If you're coming from Valencia, the airport transfer is arranged around your flight details. An info letter goes out one week before the retreat with what to bring. The minimum age is 16, and the centre also runs a seven-day Ancestor Healing retreat in the same location if this particular week doesn't fit your dates.
