Home › Retreats › 7-Day Yoga, Meditation & Ayahuasca Plant Medicine Retreat in Bahia, Brazil
Brazil · 7 days · From EUR 1365
The week is structured around two poles — daily somatic and contemplative practice in the mornings, and plant medicine ceremonies at night. A typical day starts early with meditation or qi gong, followed by breakfast and a yoga or stretching session. Midday is free for rest, swimming, or walking on the property. Afternoon activities rotate between bodywork (massage, acupressure, do-in self-massage) and energetic healing sessions. Evenings are either a ceremony night or an integration circle.
The ayahuasca ceremonies are the reason most people come. They're held by the facilitators in the traditional format, with preparation beforehand and integration support afterwards. The retreat doesn't treat it as a one-off event — talking circles and one-to-one guidance run through the week so the work from ceremony nights carries into the rest of the stay.
What separates this from a standard yoga retreat is the combination. You get the yoga, the pranayama, the qi gong — but layered on top is a shamanic medicine programme with structured preparation and integration. The group is kept small specifically so that the facilitators can track where each person is and adjust the pace.
Sítio dos Oriundos is in Vila Camboinha, a village outside Itacaré. The property is surrounded by Atlantic forest, and the nearest beaches are a short drive. Most guests fly into Salvador and then take a domestic flight or drive to Ilhéus or Itacaré; full directions are provided once the booking is confirmed.
The week runs exactly as listed — seven days, both arrival and departure included in the count. Packages are priced per person and split into two accommodation options at the same rate.
