Home › Retreats › 75-Hour Sound Healing Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India
Rishikesh · 12 days · From USD 900
Days are structured around taught modules and practice. You work through the instruments — singing bowls, bells and the other tools used in sound therapy — learning how each is held, struck and used across a session. Alongside that sit the theory modules: aura cleansing, mantra therapy and shamanic healing practices, each taught with the intention that you can use it with clients afterwards rather than just know about it.
What separates this from a shorter sound healing workshop is the teaching component. The training is 75 hours and ends with you running sessions and sound baths yourself, which is what the certification is for. People arrive from therapy, wellness work and yoga teaching backgrounds, and the course assumes you may already have a practice to bring sound into.
The academy is in a small village in the Himalayan foothills rather than in central Rishikesh. That means green landscape, quiet, and wildlife around the property, with Rishikesh itself reachable for the temples, the river and the wider yoga scene. It is a working study week, not a holiday with a course attached, so expect to be in class most of the day.
Facilitators for each intake are confirmed before your stay — the academy names the team once your booking is settled, so ask who will be teaching your dates if that matters to you.
