8 Day Sound Healing, Chakra, Meditation & Yoga Retreat in Sri Lanka

The retreat begins with a chakra consultation where Roshan assesses which of your chakras are blocked or open, and then tailoring sound healing sessions—using Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks—to address those blockages. Each day includes morning and evening yoga, pranayama, and a series of sound healing meditations, detox sound baths, and chakra balancing sessions. You will also receive a full body massage and a Shirodara (third eye) treatment, all part of the package.

The accommodation is a small, garden-focused property called Om Yoga Shala, with six rooms that open onto tropical gardens. The retreat is located about 10 minutes' walk from Moragalla Beach and 1.5 hours from Bandaranaike International Airport. Nearby attractions include the Kande Viharaya Temple and Bentota town.

Roshan, who has been running yoga retreats since 2011, is a partner at Mangrove Villa Yoga Retreat and recently established Om Yoga Shala to focus on sound healing—claiming to be the only center in the Beruwala area offering dedicated sound healing meditation. He speaks Sinhalese, English, and Russian, and his classes are described as lighthearted and accessible.

Meals are vegetarian, with vegan and gluten-free options, featuring Ayurvedic cuisine, fresh juices, and herbal teas. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, ideal for those looking to deeply relax, de-stress, and restore their energy through sound and traditional healing.
