9-Day Juice Fasting Detox & Wellness Retreat on Koh Chang Island, Thailand

The detox is the centerpiece here, and it's a thorough one. Fasting starts on day two and runs for seven full days. Each day you'll have five detox drinks, a liver flush, two veggie broths, carrot juice, coconut water, and around thirty capsules of herbal supplements. Twice a day you'll do a self-administered colonic irrigation using the resort's colema system, followed by a daily sixty-minute massage or spa treatment, a thirty-minute abdominal detox massage, and a thirty-minute herbal steam bath or far-infrared sauna session. It's a structured program, and the wellness team checks in with you daily.

The resort is family-owned, started by a dental doctor and her husband after their own travels, and that personal touch carries through everything. Kwang, who leads the detox guidance, has over a decade of experience and has worked with thousands of guests, including plenty of first-timers. Day nine is about gently breaking the fast with warm water, a final colonic, and a lactobacillus enema, so you leave with your digestive system eased back into food rather than shocked by it.

Surrounding the program, the island gives you space. Koh Chang is one of Thailand's biggest islands, but most of it is protected rainforest and mountains. The resort's location in Salak Kok Bay keeps things sleepy, with just the sea, the gardens, and the occasional boat. You can book Thai cooking classes, kayak trips, or cycling excursions directly through the resort if you have the energy, but there's no pressure to do anything but rest.
