Advanced 300-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh

Advanced 300-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh

Rishikesh · 30 days · From USD 701

The retreat runs six days a week with a full daily immersion. Mornings begin with shatkarma (cleansing practices) and pranayama, followed by a long asana practice. The style rotates through the week, so you cover Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Kundalini, and Yin. Afternoons are split between philosophy lectures (Bhagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Yoga Sutras), anatomy, and teaching methodology. Ayurveda classes with a Panchakarma doctor give you practical tools for working with different body types and conditions.

What sets this course apart is the therapeutic spine. You do not just learn advanced postures; you learn how to adapt them for injuries, pregnancy, and common health issues. Reiki Level 1 and 2 are included, which is unusual for a 300-hour course. The final week is all about teaching: you lead classes in pranayama, asana, and meditation while senior teachers give detailed feedback. You will leave with confidence and a clear sense of your own teaching voice.

Manoj Rawat leads the school. He grew up learning from swamis and yogis in Rishikesh, trained at the Bihar School of Yoga, and has taught for decades. He has a reputation for knowing what students need and creating a supportive, family-like atmosphere. The school is in Swargashram, just steps from the Ganga, with cafes, markets, and the famous Ram Jhula bridge nearby.

The ashram itself is simple and traditional. Rooms have attached western toilets and 24-hour hot water (though the schedule for hot water can be limited with larger groups). The food is sattvic vegetarian, mostly rice and dal with seasonal vegetables, served three times a day. Sundays have only breakfast. Be prepared for a strict schedule and an early wake-up – this is a serious training, not a relaxing holiday.
