Advanced Psilocybin Retreat in the Netherlands: 3-Day Deep Immersion

The retreat takes place over three days at a private forest location in Helvoirt, in the south of the Netherlands. You arrive, settle in, and start with preparation: an orientation session, intention-setting, and a first breathwork practice before the deeper ceremonial work begins. Meals are prepared by private chefs on site, and there's time built in to talk with the facilitation team one-to-one before the main ceremony.

The centrepiece is a guided full-dose psilocybin truffle ceremony, held with the full group and supported by Niels van der Valk and the facilitation team. The following day is deliberately slower: integration practices, small tribe group sessions, and solo nature immersion — time alone in the forest to sit with what came up. A sweat lodge with a microdose is scheduled later in the programme, followed by an optional ice bath for those who want it. Psychedelic Breathwork sessions run alongside the ceremonial work rather than instead of it.

The advanced version uses a full dose rather than a moderate one, adds the sweat lodge and solo nature immersion, and places much more emphasis on the integration work afterwards. The mix of full-group and small tribe-group sessions is specific to this retreat — it's designed so you get both the shared energy of a larger ceremony and the closer, more personal support of a small group.

Niels van der Valk founded Elevated Mind Retreats and leads the programme, working with an experienced facilitation team. The retreat operates legally under Dutch law using psilocybin-containing truffles. Everyone goes through an intake and screening process first — this isn't a formality, and the team will ask about your mental health history, previous experience, and what you're hoping to get out of it before confirming your place.

Accommodation is on site, with men's and women's shared en-suite rooms and a private room option for two people. Full details on room allocation are confirmed per booking, as are any upgrades.
