Algarve Detox Retreat: 7-Night Wellness Programme at Pine Cliffs Resort

The retreat starts on arrival day with a welcome and introduction, where you meet the team and get a walkthrough of your week's schedule. The nutritionist then reviews your personal goals, eating habits, and any health considerations, and that's what shapes the meal plan you'll follow for the rest of the stay — the 7-night programme also includes a Bioimpedance Analysis (a body composition reading taken in about 30 minutes) so there's a baseline to work from.

Therapy-wise, the 7-night package is specific: two 50-minute lymphatic drainage massages plus one 25-minute version, a 50-minute detox massage, a 50-minute renewed recovery massage, a detoxifying body scrub and wrap (50 minutes), two seaweed body wraps (25 minutes each), two marine detox baths (20 minutes each), and a 50-minute purifying facial. These are booked around your schedule, not stacked on top of each other; most people find they have one or two treatments a day and plenty of gaps in between.

Fitness components come in the form of three 50-minute group classes (signature classes are excluded from the package but can be booked separately), plus full access to the resort's gym, indoor pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Outdoor pools and the beach are also yours to use. This is a detox programme rather than a hard training camp — the movement is there to support the cleanse, not to exhaust you.

What separates the 7-night version from the shorter 3-night and 5-night options is simply volume: more treatments, more time in the rhythm of the plan, and more of a chance to actually feel a difference rather than just a brief pause. It's also the version that includes the take-home nutrition consultation and the personalised retail product, so you leave with something concrete rather than just good intentions.

The resort itself sits on the clifftop above Praia da Falésia in the Algarve, known for its red-gold cliffs and long sandy beach — you can walk down to the sand from the property. Faro airport is around 30 minutes away, and return transfers are part of the package. July and August are peak season, and prices for those months are available on request rather than listed.
