The week runs on a simple rhythm. Morning class is the energising one, followed by brunch. Afternoon class is the more therapeutic session — slower, more restorative work — and one evening is given over to Yoga Nidra. Between classes the day is yours.
The styles on offer are Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and Nidra, and the same classes take beginners and advanced practitioners. That mix is unusual: you are not split into separate groups, so expect the teachers to give options within one room.
Irene Zaarour is a qualified Ashtanga teacher under Sharath Jois, with more than 20 years of practice behind her. She travels to Mysore in India every year to practise and study. Irena Smith is an advanced yoga teacher qualified in Vinyasa, Yin, Trapeze, Rocket Yoga, Hydro Yoga and breathing coaching. Between them they cover a wide range — from strict Ashtanga to trapeze and breathwork.
Where you stay is a three-star property, single or double occupancy, in the Carpathian Mountains. The exact village is not stated on the page. Brunch is cooked by the group itself: nuts, fruit, eggs, bread, yogurt and vegetables. There is no serving staff.
Free time is genuinely free. The page lists Bran Castle, swimming or a spa, a trip to Brasov, and a walk to the bats cave as optional extras you arrange and pay for yourself. The teachers suggest flying into Bucharest — possibly with a few days there first — then taking the train to Brasov. They also mention Bristol as a starting point.
