Home › Retreats › Ayurveda & Yoga Wellness Retreat in Poland's Kazimierz Landscape Park
Poland · 4 days
The retreat is run out of a guesthouse in Nałęczów, a spa town in the Lublin region of eastern Poland. The building sits on the edge of the Kazimierz Landscape Park buffer zone — the woodland starts basically at the property line, and the Trail of Power, a marked walking path with forest therapy stations, runs from the grounds. The climate is mild and green; guests repeatedly mention birdsong and fresh air in reviews.
The daily rhythm is built around the yoga room and the winter garden. Mornings usually start with yoga, then breakfast at the Heaven and Forest restaurant. The restaurant serves what the reviews call 'unusual' and 'delicious' food — local and seasonal, with produce from the property's own permaculture crops and nearby suppliers, and an Ayurvedic option (the Aju detox menu). Afternoons are for treatments, the sauna, the biobathing pool, or a walk. Evenings are meditation, breathing sessions, or reading in the living room library.
The wellness offering is broader than a typical yoga retreat. Alongside yoga, meditation, pranayama, mindfulness and forest bathing, there is a full treatment menu: massages, herbal baths, pressure therapy, light therapy, sound therapy and aromatherapy. There is a physiotherapy consultation that assesses your individual needs and selects which treatments to focus on, and a healthy nutrition consultation that includes a health history review, body composition analysis and dietary goal setting. Guests consistently name the masseuse, Aneta, in reviews — one wrote that 'the art of massage is brought to perfection'.
What makes this different from a standard European spa hotel is scale and pace. With 11 rooms plus suites and cottages, it stays small, and the property explicitly says it doesn't do hurried or aggressive treatments. The grounds are full of small dedicated spaces: the Garden of 5 Elements, the Pyramid of Horus for focus and energy, the ZEN Terrace, and orangeries. Guests describe 'magic signs' scattered around the property with readings that encourage you to stop. There is a craft shop selling healthy products to take home, and the property is dog-friendly — several reviews mention bringing pets.
