Indonesia · 4 days · From EUR 500
The retreat runs for four days and three nights at The Dukuh, a locally owned eco-resort in Belumbang, near Pasut Beach in the Kerambitan area of southwest Bali. The property is CHSE-certified and built with sustainability in mind. The village setting is quiet, with rice paddies and tropical gardens around. You'll stay in a standalone Balinese-style villa with a private terrace, air conditioning, en-suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, minibar, and free-flow mineral water. The grounds have an outdoor pool, gardens, a poolside bar, and free bicycles to borrow. Check-in is from 1:00 PM and check-out is at 2:00 PM. Airport transfers from Ngurah Rai International Airport are included on arrival.
Each morning begins with a 90-minute yoga and meditation session. The yoga styles rotate between Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Yin, so you get variety. On alternate days, there's also an afternoon yoga class. The retreat includes several cultural and healing activities: a water purification ceremony guided by local healers, an intuitive wellness session with a traditional shaman, a Balinese Hindu ceremony (depending on availability), a coconut leaf weaving workshop (tamasa and klangsah), and a Balinese cooking class. You'll also go on excursions such as rice paddy sightseeing and trekking, lazy river tubing, sunrise or sunset cycling, and beach yoga. Every day includes a one-hour Balinese spa treatment.
All meals are full-board and feature wholesome local dishes prepared by village women. The menu is vegetarian, vegan, or regular, with daily fresh juices and smoothies, plus water, coffee, and tea. Dietary requirements like vegan and gluten-free are catered for. The retreat is led by Tedy, Putu, and Bingwati, who teach in English (Indonesian is also spoken). Group size is capped at 14 participants. The retreat's mission is to give back to the local community through sustainable cultural tourism that supports families and small businesses. By the end, you can expect to feel clearer, more connected to Balinese culture, and have some practical tools to take home.
The retreat is tailored, meaning dates are arranged to suit you. You can request your preferred dates and the team will confirm availability. There's no upfront charge, and cancellation terms are set by the retreat leader and confirmed before you pay. The price starts from USD 580 per person for a private villa room for one, or USD 965 for two people sharing. Optional upgrades and extras can be added, such as additional treatments or private yoga sessions.
