Beachside 300-Hour Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training

Agastya Yoga runs this 300-hour advanced teacher training in Keri (Querim), North Goa, two minutes from the beach. The curriculum builds on foundational 200-hour work, diving into advanced postures, precise alignment, hands-on adjustments, and class sequencing. You'll study the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita, learn pranayama techniques like Kapalbhati and Bhastrika, and get a working knowledge of Ayurveda and the chakra system. Anatomy sessions focus on the skeletal and muscular systems, with an eye on injury prevention.

Teaching practicum is central—you'll be up practicing verbal cues and class management most afternoons, with instructors giving feedback as you go. The group is capped at 20, so you get personal attention even in a full cohort. Mornings start with shatkarma (cleansing practices), chanting, and a dynamic asana session; afternoons include adjustment and alignment workshops. Evenings are lighter—meditation, beach walks, sometimes kirtan or a movie night.

The location is part of what makes this training memorable. Querim Beach is a short walk away, and the vibe is calm and green. You can take a dip in the sea on breaks, and Arambol Beach with its music scene and paragliding is a short drive for your day off.
