Boxing Camp Como: Train with Italian Champion Suat Laze on Lake Como

Lake Como · 7 days · From EUR 1250

This is the second edition of the camp, running from 21 to 28 June 2026. The structure is consistent: breakfast from 07:30 to 09:00, the first training block from 09:30 to 11:30, free time from 12:00 to 15:30, a second training block from 15:30 to 17:30, and free time again from 18:00 to 22:00. What changes day to day is the content. Monday opens with a warm-up, strength and endurance work and bag work on technique. Tuesday is ring work with the coach plus a light circuit. Wednesday combines jump rope work, conditioning and sparring. Thursday brings bag rounds for repetitions and a muscle-group circuit. Friday is running training, sprints and a core workout, then an easy run and upper body weights in the afternoon. Saturday is sparring with the coach followed by a core and stretching session. Sunday stays flexible around training, free time and departures.

Suat Laze leads every session. He was born in Durrës, raised as an athlete in Italy, and has fought professionally at featherweight with a record of 25 wins, 9 losses and 1 draw. He has taken on fighters including Olympic gold medallist Albert Batyrgaziev, beaten Vittorio Parrinello and fought for the Italian national title. He runs a boxing school in Como and lives there.

The camp splits into two daily blocks so you're not training through the heat of the day. The afternoon sessions include a theory session on technique and fight strategy, so it isn't only physical work. Both blocks mix gym time with outdoor sessions. The morning run days take you along the lake, and the schedule notes 4/7/10 km options.

Como sits a few kilometres from the Swiss border. The lake, the historic villages on its shores and the villas around it are the reason most people extend their stay. The town is reachable by car, by train into Como San Giovanni station, or by plane via Milan Malpensa.

Practical notes from guests who have been: the schedule is well organised and the group atmosphere is friendly, but at least one past guest said they would have liked more downtime to themselves, and another mentioned that small details in the accommodation could be improved. Both still recommended the camp.
